Good morning! Slept fine.

Thinking back to last year today. It was moving day in Las Cruces, so I had woke up early like 6am or so, the truck picked up my belongings and left about 1-2pm and they were just going to start driving there and stop for the night. They would be dropping off my stuff at 5 pm on the 4th. So it was a race against the clock through a blizzard to make it to Kansas to my new place before my movers did and the blizzard. There was still so much to do after they left I didn’t hit the road until 8pm, already almost crying at that point, mind you I had been awake all day. Was a tumultuous trip, white outs, no food, no sleep, missed my hotel stop because there was no time Chimmie wouldn’t pee outside, or inside. I then finally got here about 3 pm and slipped in slush snow and fell hit my knees on the back of the car trying not to fall, then killed both ankles and feet in the process 🥴. No worries local EMT happened to be driving by and they stopped to check me out, lol, welcome to Manhattan bitch! 🤣 perfectly synchronized let me tell you! I was so embarrassed really I looked like hell probably, but they were real nice, maybe too nice and I think I heard pretty come out one of their mouths 😂. Then after they left I realized I was wearing my evil eye necklace so they were probably just afraid. Anyways…I made it two hours before furniture drop off!! I doordashed firehouse subs, the one day they didn’t have toasters working of course. That might have been my hardest day of life. I’ve been dying here ever since 😂.

And again just like last year this big snow blanket is about to fall this weekend. I’m so greatful to already be here and not out there this year! I even have a door snake for the cold air! Chimmie is becoming less interested in it by the day so that’s good. The AC filter is new too, so the air in here should be clean. Going to keep decorations up until mid month, weekend after my birthday.

So I thought I’d do a small show and tell of my Christmas things even though not all is here yet, I still have pics. When it gets here I’ll show again. I have mostly jewelry and one very special vinyl. One jewelry item I didn’t order…I was supposed to get this ring but got a pendant by mistake but I’ll include it…not sure what I’ll be doing with it yet, we’re are still working it out, but it’s pretty, lol.

Next, I have one of two journals here, the other is due to show up later today. Along with some stickers…for my little boom box. Yay!!

Now for the 🎶 . I found this vinyl, I am SO excited to have it, it‘s so special to me. The feature photo was a hint of this album…it is located on the back of the inner lyric booklet.

An album on my top 10 wishlist found…I think #1 actually. I’ll go back and look…and insert that list at bottom of this post from that blogpost.

I never thought I’d find it because it’s been out of production for a longtime and it’s Swedish so even if I found it, it was probably going to be hard for me to recieve it. I saw like one or two on ebay for hundreds of dollars, in the past few years, I didn’t see odds would get better because the singer has passed on. I’m not going to pay hundreds, but look I found one in limited clear violet color brand new for less than $50 😱. I’m so happy, it is beautiful I'm going to play it on my birthday. It is one of two vinyls I said I couldn’t miss out on. The other one is still on my radar, and you could probably guess what it is by this purchase. I’ve not hit the button yet, but probably will this month. If it is for me…it will be there when I can receive it. That is how I go about my life now, no use in getting all sad over what isn’t. This music was always for me, instant connection. The cds are easier to come by and I will get them too eventually. But I have to have it on vinyl first!

The list I wrote out December 23…👇🏻 I was right 😂. I need to redo this list, things have changed order and lots of new desires have emerged, due to reissues, but I got my #1!

I like lots of music, but keep it soul deep, I like soul deep, I like layers, I like multiple meanings, I wanna feel it, the love and pain, happiness and despair, the cold and the heat. That is the kind of music I’ll buy.

Got the jewelry mix up worked out. I’m sending the amethyst peridot necklace back, the ring will be sent. Yay! I’m glad because that bypass ring is a spiritual tool for me.

I’m actually pretty impressed with the diversity of rock stickers, these are just the ones I want to put on the boom box for sure, I have another stack if I need them but I already have some large ones on it. The ghost stickers are cute, mostly for free gifts on Mercari.
